From April 10th to 12th, 2019, the "Green Waters and Green Mountains, Science and Technology Innovation Future" seminar was jointly organized by DuPont China Group Co., Ltd., Sui On Insulation Materials Co., Ltd., and Axalta Coating Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Sanya.
Industry experts were invited to discuss topics such as DuPont's NOMEX(R) global market strategy, Sui On Processing Services, the latest hybrid vehicle technology (batteries) and direction, NOMEX? solutions for hybrid vehicles, motor insulation failure case studies, offshore wind power development trends, and the application of Axalta insulating varnish in new energy vehicles.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Jia Quancheng, Marketing Manager of Sui On insulating, introduced in detail to the guests the company profiles of more than 30 strategic partners participating in the meeting.
Immediately after, DuPont China Deputy General Manager of Sales Gao Shengyu introduced the strategy and changes after the merger and split of DuPont and Dow. 2019 new energy automobile sales exceeded 1.27 million, an increase of 59.9% year-on-year, the growth rate of the fastest is amazing, the enterprise will be focusing on new energy automobile, the insulation material industry is also the same. New energy vehicle motors on insulation materials insulation, thermal conductivity and environmental protection put forward higher requirements, customers in the selection of insulation materials there are many doubts.
Special guest Prof. Lu Baoqi, technical advisor of Shanghai Electric Machinery Association and professorate senior engineer, shared with the audience the design of insulation structure and key insulation process of electric motor for electric vehicles.
Meanwhile, Prof. Ying Hongliang of Shanghai Electric Drive also analyzed the challenges and development trend of insulation system for new energy vehicle motors to the attending guests. In addition, Nie Yingfa, Chief Engineer of Huizhou Tamura, shared his many years of experience in using DuPont nomex paper, and made an all-round comparison between DuPont Nomex paper and domestic paper, so that customers can have a clearer understanding of material selection.
